Instructions:

  1. Warm the milk and mix with melted butter and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it activate until foamy.
  2. Add salt, egg, and egg yolk. Gradually mix in the flour to form a dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll tightly and slice into rolls.
  4. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again.
  5. Pour heavy whipping cream (optional) over the rolls. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. For the frosting, mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth. Frost the rolls while warm and enjoy!
