Hi bakers!

And welcome to our series of Oven How-To's, where we provide step-by-step guides on how to use your oven. Your Simply Bread journey does not end when we deliver the oven; we want to accompany you all the way, and provide you with all the tools you need to make the most out of your oven.

For our first Oven How-To blog article, we decided to provide you with tips and advice on how to clean your oven. We know how important having a nice and clean oven is; not only will it allow your bread to remain at a top-tier quality, but it will also make your oven look brand-new, even after making multiple batches of delicious baked goods!

First, we will let you in on a little secret: when it comes to cleaning it, your Simply Bread oven is very low maintenance. All you will need is water, a vacuum with a nozzle, a microfiber cloth, and a stainless steel cleaner!

Let's get started!

First, you will want to make sure to take out the water reservoir on top of the oven.

Go ahead and open your oven. Take out all of the stones, and set them down on a table; we will come back to them in a few minutes.

It might seem odd, but it is time to vacuum your oven! When baking bread or other pastries, it is normal that crumbs are left behind; a vacuum is the easiest and fastest way to get rid of them. Tip: to be the most efficient, choose a vacuum with a small nozzle, so that you can go in every corner without breaking your wrist!

Once your oven is crumbs-free, time to wipe it clean. Grabbing a wet cloth, you will want to go over all surfaces, including the inside and outside part of the oven door, the top, and the oven walls.

Let's go back to the stones that you set out on the side a few moments ago. Using the same wet cloth, wipe down the stones. Tip: if the stones have stains that are difficult to remove, feel free to scrub them a little harder using warm water, but make sure to not use any soap or detergent! Once the stones are dried, you can carefully put them back in place in your oven.

Last but not least, using a stainless steel spray, wipe down all surfaces again, leaving your oven as shiny as day 1!

The final step will be to screw the water reservoir back in place and voilà! You just successfully cleaned your Simply Bread Oven.

We hope this guide was helpful! As always, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or comments. And if you have your own tricks to clean your Simply Bread oven, we would love to hear it!
